Pierre and Florence Pallardy welcome you in their 18th century mansion at l'île de Ré. Together, they rehabilitated La Baronnie with passion courage and touch. They managed to save this jewel of the island by restoring it into the exceptional glamour which makes La Baronnie one of the most famous places of the island.
Le Domaine de La Baronnie, in the heart of Saint-Martin de Ré, a little paradise of peace and flowers is the ideal location for week-ends, holidays, relaxation and for collecting new energy from Easter to November.
Le Roy, La Reine, La Marquise and Le Baron... each room is refined and customised. Breakfast, traditional or dietetic, is served in the dinning-room or the garden. Minimum stay : 2 nights - non smoker - No pets.
Famous osteopath and dietetician, Pierre Pallardy is available on the premises. By appointement only. One or several weeks arrangements.
The beaches closest to La Baronnie are "la plage de la Cible" at the bottom of the ramparts of Saint-Martin or, 3 Km south, the long beach stretching all the way from Sainte-Marie to Ars, bordered by sand dunes.
The island is flat and 50 Km long. It is a perfect paradise for cyclers. Biking on its 100 Km cycle paths is the best way to visit the area while having a nearly constant view on the sea.
Bicycles can be rented easily in the village.
