Château d'Iholdy
Located in the heart of Navarra kingdom (Lower Navarra), chateau d'Iholdy is a good example of 17th century architecture. Noble residence of a prelate who lived during the "Grand Siècle" (18th century), it has been built in 1664, on the ruins of a family castle, by his Lordship d'Olce, bishop who blessed marriage of French King Louis 14th and Spain Infanta.
Rich interior, coffered ceiling, monumental fireplaces, authentic furniture, pretty church (17th century) and its retable, large stairs and its ceiling, the place looks well.
