The Seine had the wisdom to leave Paris and to dig its bed in Normandy: welcome aboard its museum. The “gribane” boat has found a final port here.
This ancestor of the barge is the mother of all memories that pass through here, just as the formidable and fearsome tidal bore used to roar through, before the embankment
of the Seine confined this phenomenon to the pages of history.
