Château de Rouffillac
A fortified manor in the 17th century, Rouffillac was enlarged and trasformed in the 19th century into an elegant Renaissance style castle.
Located in the heart of Dark Perigord, 15 km (10 miles) from Sarlat, the castle stands above the valley of the Dordogne. Every room of the the castel enjoys a breathtaking view of the valley.
30 hectares (12 acres) of park and wooland provide quiet and peaceful surroundings.
The residence is the ideal holiday place to discover Périgord and the Middle Age town of Sarlat. The castel of Rouffillac is close to the tourist centres of Perigords and Quercy : Lascaux an other prehistoric caves, Sarlat, medieval castles, Rocamadour, Padirac... In summer, the region provides many cultural activities (music and theatre festivals) and numerous opportunities for sport.
You will have the entire castle at your disposal : two lounges, a dining room a vast stony vaulted kitche, 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a swimming pool protected by an alarm.
Modern comfort throughout in perfect conditions : Telephone-fax,DVD player, TV set with international channels, HIFI, ping-pong, baby foot, linen (bed sheets, towels). 6 hours cleaning per week offered.
