Cité de Saint-Macaire
This 13th and 14th century medieval city, protected by ramparts and fortified gateways, dominates the the Garonne river. The church is decorated with 13th century frescos and has a Romanesque cloister. An arcaded square is surrounded by many Renaissance houses. Regional post office museum. Tropical aquarium.
