Château Le Clos des Matignon

Three watery mirrors lie in the shadow of hundred-year-old linden trees… It was here that Louise of Grimaldi fell in love. In these ponds one can see reflected the south wing of the sumptuous château built in the late 16th century by the Counts of Matignon, proud lords who would one day ascend to the throne of Monaco.
The reception rooms contain Louis XIV furniture and tapestries, and also exhibit the works of one of Torigni's other claims to fame, the sculptor Arthur Le Duc.
