Fees and Opening days :
Open 2 to 6 pm on weekends and public holidays from Easter to May 30th.
Open 11 am to 6 pm every day in June, July, August, and September.
Open 2 to 6 pm on weekends and public holidays from October 1st to All Saints' Day.
Groups (minimum 10 adults and/or children) are welcome all year round, but reservations are required. Formulas include daylong visits including a meal, la Route Royale, d'un Royaume à l'autre, etc. Information on request.

Description :

The chateau and its park.

These all take place in the magical setting of Château de Cazeneuve's lovely grounds with lakes, waterfalls, rapids, natural caves, giant bamboo grove and bridleways. You can enjoy the following sport and leisure activities.

Daredevil course, orienteering, royal Olympics, treasure hunt, forest walks and visit to a palombière (pigeon hide) with a naturalist, archery, trail bikes, mountain bikes, canoes, kayaks, etc.
Fun, recreational five senses trail, including events in the château, the grounds, and the Ciron Gorges, introduction to using Quad bikes with rides through the forest, acrobatic games, etc.
Rough terrain driving in 4x4s, crossing the Ciron Gorges over a rope bridge, picnics and country-style buffets, medieval games and meals in the forest in keeping with customs from the Middle Ages.
Tours of great wine châteaux (classified growths) in Sauternes : Yquem, Rieussec, Suduiraut, Myrat, etc.
All of these activities are also organised : as tournaments, as part of an adventure trek with a trapper's evening, bivouac evening, etc.
Go off the beaten track and enjoy this exceptional location with a tradition of "the good life" going back to King Henry IV and refinement going back to Queen Margot !
