La Bastide du Roy is located in Villamblard, a village in the heart of Perigord, in Dordogne halfway between Bergerac and Périgueux and local attractions of Sarlat, Les Eyzies, the Duomo, La Bastide is ... on the way to St. Jacques de Compostela.
At the heart of the wine region of the Dordogne, the Pécharmant, and not far from Monbazillac, La Bastide du Roy is also close to Saint Emilion and its major areas.
La Bastide du Roy offers Bed and Breakfast. Its a beautiful bastide of the eighteenth century typical Perigord houses built around the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The house consists of a main building flanked by two pavilions. The other wing, topped with a Mansard roof, is a nice addiction that once served as stables. We renovated the Bastide du Roy, while maintaining the authenticity and character of the building to make it a stopping place and comfortable stay for our guests.
For a more enjoyable stay, enjoy the pool and magnificent flower gardens or the cool undergrowth.
